Cort Sunset TC Open Pore Burgundy Red 2020 Electric Guitar
Here for sale we have a Cort Sunset TC in Open Pore Burgundy Red finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, HardMaple neck and 22 fret Jatoba fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware including a fixed bridge with vintage style saddles and a set of Grover tuning machines. The pickups featured are a Cort Voiced VT90 in the neck and a Warman Single-coil in the bridge, these are wired to a 3-way selector, master volume and a master tone control.
The HardMaple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile that resembles a ‘D’ feeling slim and quick in the hand. The Jatoba fingerboard provides a smooth surface under the fingers, whilst the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets assist with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a smooth playing experience across the register. The single cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register whilst the fixed bridge and Grover tuning machines provide rock solid tuning stability.
The Cort Voiced VT90 in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix, offering a nice balance between the single-coil and P90. The Warman Single-coil in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips whilst the simplistic control layout offers a no thrills but versatile instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. The previous owner has attempted a relic style aesthetic, the front face has been sanding to a matt finish. The top edge of the front and rear face has had indentations made to it, these are only cosmetic and do not affect the structure of the guitar.
Neck: Overall good condition. The rear of the neck at the first fret has been sanded to look ‘worn in’, this can not be felt in the playing position. The rear of the neck has been sanded to appear ‘worn in’ near the neck pocket. This is only cosmetic and can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall good condition. The entirety of the body has had a heavy ‘relic’ aesthetic done to it by the previous owner. Light, moderate and heavy indentations have been applied to the body, some of which were done by a soldering iron, these are only cosmetic and do not affect the structure of the guitar.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included
Hardware: Fully functional with light to signs of wear. The tuning machines have been replaced with a set of Grover. The bridge plate displays scratches that break through the chrome finish, this does not affect the functionality. The truss rod cover is missing from the previous owner as well as the original pickguard.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Strings on Guitar - 10-52
Height of string from 12th Fret- Treble 1.5mm - Bass 2mm
Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.
Mild fret buzzing is apparent on the low E string, the future owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
Electrics:
Fully functional. The original bridge pickup has been replaced with a Warman single-coil.

If you just are not getting along with your new gear you are welcome to return it within 30 days for a full refund. We will ask you to pay the return shipping cost and will need to receive your order back in the condition we sent it. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
