Original Release Date: September 21, 1985 but not for retail sale until March 31, 1986

1st pressings only use the CBS/Sony matrix listed and they used the West German release Master Tape as their source. First pressings have the 1A11 matrix.

Later Black Triangle Toshiba pressings without this 1A11 matrix use different masters, and are sonically different. This press is generally recognised as the best sounding copy of Meddle you can find. And I can only agree. It's hard to let this one go.
