This vintage watercolor painting features a beautiful cow in a field, created by the listed artist F Douglas Greenbowe during the post WWII era. There is something very evocative about this painting- I was immediately drawn to it.  The level of artistry is quite arresting and the shading is extraordinary.

The piece is matted and framed, and signed by the artist. The medium used is paper and the production technique is watercolor painting, resulting in an impressionistic style. The painting is one of a kind and is an original piece, featuring the theme of animals, specifically cows, which are the subject of the artwork.

This piece was most likely created in Arizona, USA, and is a medium sized painting. Mr. Greenbowe was a Professor and lived in the Scottsdale area much of his life.
