Upgrade your cheap factory water meth check valve to prevent unwanted ice from leaking into your engine while sitting and running. These have already shown to have Hydro locked a few engines and it’s probably causing excess usage in some situations. This is a must do modification very cheap insurance. Super easy install. Simply remove the old one by pulling the barbs out of the hose while twisting. Snip some off the end of the hose towards the engine.. then snip the plastic that would sit underneath the new location for the check valve. You will see in the last picture the piece of plastic that is left over. (THE CHECK VALVE HAS THREAD SEALANT , The nipple that goes into the main body of the valve, needs to be tightened to where there is no threads showing) the other side cannot be tightened as far…. There is a reason that they aren’t both the same. Just FYI .. Thanks ! Tell your friends about this check valve , it may save them a ton of headaches
