Jewelry Boxes - AntiquesA great trinket box raised on four legs. France, 19th century.
Created in the shape of a mini chest of drawers, intended for collectibles.
The box is decorated In a stylish clamshell design with touches of gilt paint worn
through touch over the years.
It's numbered: 226, marked: DEPOSE.
The lid opens to reveal the original blue silk cushion. it's kept In fair condition
for its age, the cushion is worn - see picture 4
Also there is a small minor cracks on behind, both sides of the opening axis - see picture 7.
Approx. 4 inches high, 4 1/2 inches wide, 3 inches deep.
