Gorgeous 1940s hand knitted top and skirt set. Someone suggested that the set could possibly have been worn as an ice skating outfit due to the length of the skirt. The top and skirt both appear to be flawless. The elastic on the waistband has not been sewn, and the ends are attached by a safety pin. Please note: There is a significant musty smell. I have made no attempt to launder the set. Please let me know if I can answer questions!
