Waterford’s debut of the Copper Wheel Engraved Gallery, which spotlights the intaglio copper wheel engraving technique used at the House of Waterford Crystal. An intricate, labor intensive affair, the deeper the engraver etches into the crystal, the more prominent the object appears. This painstaking process, seen on many of Waterford’s international sporting trophies and large, limited edition inspiration pieces, can take anywhere from a few hours to many days to complete. The subjects chosen for this debut collection include beasts of the African plains and well-loved international landmarks. The Statue of Liberty Oval Vase features 360-degree cutting and engraving with magnificent depth and focal presence.
Comes in a Waterford Box with foam inserts. The box does show wear from handling and storage.
