This is an original, antique invitation to a "First Grade Prize Masquerade Ball" dated 1880.  The town is not listed but it is likely St. Louis (that town had a dance academy by the name of Prof. Fisher's Dancing Academy and streets named 4th and Myrtle.)  Note that the price of the tickets was $1 - a hefty sum at that time.  Measures approximately 5.5 by 3 inches.

Vintage condition; Corner and edge wear; Numerous bends; Discoloration; Signs of age and handling; please review photo.
