Author Biography

Ray Kurzweil is among the world's preeminent innovators and futurists, with a thirty-year track record of accurate predictions. Described by the Wall Street Journal as 'a restless genius', he has received at least 21 honorary doctorates and 3 US presidential honours. A director of engineering at Google working on natural language AI, he is a prizewinning researcher and author, whose books include The Singularity is Near, How to Create a Mind, The Age of Spiritual Machines and The Singularity is Nearer (published 2024).
