A Vintage London Primary Prep Infant School Cap Hat manufactured by Piggott Ltd of Cheapside and Milk street, London.

This cap is worn and the material is thin in one area with a slight moth hole.

It is probably only suitable for a prop or perhaps a shop display and on that basis it is sold as a Collectable.

But it is from a top maker and the badge is in part gold coloured (now tarnished) wire, denoting quality. The badge motto is Domine dirige nos: Lord direct us.

This would have been ax expensive item in its day.
