Ibanez SA360 Trans Black 2002 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have an Ibanez SA360 in Trans Black finish. Made in Korea in 2002, this set-neck constructed guitar features a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, Maple neck, and 22 fret Rosewood Fingerboard. This guitar features Chrome hardware including Ibanez machine heads and floating bridge with a Plastic nut. The pickups installed in this guitar are two Duncan Designed single-coils in the neck and middle position with a Jackson humbucker in the bridge. These are wired to a 5-Way Blade Switch,  Master Volume, and Master Tone controls. 

The neck feels like a slim 'U' shape profile,  providing blistering playability as the flatter surface acts as an anchor for the thumb when soloing. The Gloss finish on the rear of the neck offers slick manoeuvrability up and down the register accentuated by the double cutaway design and well designed heel contour which gives unobstructed reach into the upper of the 22 frets. The Jumbo frets and smooth luxurious Rosewood fingerboard enhances vibrato and bending techniques allowing the strings to glide over them with ease. This is also demonstrated with the 14" radius and 1.69" nut width which gives a flatter surface and wider string width for accurate leads whilst retaining effortless chordal playability - perfect for rock and metal guitarists. 

The pickups generate a range of tones suitable for multiple genres. The neck and middle single-coils produce a focused warm clarity with rounded, punchy cleans. The humbucker however delivers a beefy high-output sound that produces a thick yet crisp tone that's made for high gain rock and metal. The 5-way blade switch also allows the player to easily switch between these with the simple control panel enabling the player to dial in their own tones with the master volume and tone knobs. This versatile guitar can access a range of genres however playability wise styles itself towards shredding rock and metal leads.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very minor indentations are present to the front edges, most notably towards the tip. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. The rear demonstrates minimal markings. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. The volute demonstrates some mild lacquer wear, lightly felt under the finger. The fingerboard shows some very light tooling marks around the fret edges which do not affect playability.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations not piercing the finish are present to the front face, most notably to the treble side of the waist near the neck pickup and to the centre of the lower bout. The rear face shows light to mild scratching consistent with mild buckle rash. 

Condition of Frets: 

The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is noticeable through the entire register. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Fully functional. Truss rod adjustment tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Further Notes:

This guitar demonstrates moderate fret noise which is only mildly apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
