What can be said, true believer? A piece of comic book history here, with a text story by a very young Stan Lee, a classic Alex Schomburg torture / hypodermic needle cover, and history-making Joe Simon / Jack Kirby art with deft assists from Al Avison. Spine has seen better days, but at least it's still seeing days ... YOU should look so good at this age. Oddly seems to be still attached at both staples but the cover appears to have undergone a scalpel and glue surgery at some point in this book's long historic survival to date. Perhaps the mad scientist on the cover got ahold of this book decades ago - who can tell - with a very odd re-attach manifesting as a cut and reglue at the edge of color - see last picture. If tape and glue and lawless doctoring strikes fear in your collector's heart then kindly pass on this rare opportunity to own this sacred relic of super hero history.

This shipment method has proven to provide an excellent balance of affordability, waste reduction, and protection for comics in transit. We can of course package your book in bomb-proof boxes if that is your preference: all you need to do is let us know that you would like to pay an additional fee for this option prior to paying.
