Wonderful old cookie jar from the TV show Romper Room. You will find Do Bee right on top! The show started in 1953. Laurel Sales of Cleveland Ohio marketed this Japanese made cookie jar in the 1950s.

I remember watching the show at the end when the teacher would look through the magic mirror and say “Romper, bomper, stomper boo. Tell me, tell me, tell me, do. Magic Mirror, tell me today, did all my friends have fun at play?” Then she would say of list of names and I would sit and hope she would say mine.

This is an old piece and in very good condition for its age. There is one side crack that does not go all the way down so the jar is structurally sound. No chips. Please view all the pictures and ask any questions. You won’t find another one of these on ebay!
