This is an absolutely fantastic item I have for sale.

It's a nice, plaster statue of an Alsatian.

It's painted to give us a faux bronze look, it's really well done.

It's signed on it, I think it says Emile Rouff, which when I've looked, seems to have done a nujber of dog statues and sculptures in the past.

It also has M. GINDEAL or M GINDRAL and the number 276. I've tried to research this and I can't find anything that matches it.

Emile often seems to have put the name of the dog on her sculptures, and seems to have done police dogs in her work, so it could be something to do with that.

I believe it's mid century in date, but not too sure. I can find lots of work by the artist, but I can't find out info when they were born etc, unfortunately.

It measures about 40cm across.

Condition wise is good. A few marks and I did some sympathetic restoring of the ear - I only did this with paint, but it matches nicely so it's hard to tell there is a chip there.

Any questions, just ask.

I'm wanting to change things round, buy some new stock, add to my collection, so take a look at my listings as I've a lot of antiques and vintage items, so check them out.

I'm happy to do deals, so make me an offer, especially if you want more than one item.
