LONG ISLAND CLUB LISTS TOURNEYS

Swordfish Tournament to Be Held at Deep Sea Club

One hundred twenty miles from New York, on Star Island, ening near the tip of Long Island, the Deep Sea Club —a huge, ram-

bling establishment built in the manner of an English country house —offers every accommodation a yachtsman or sports fisherman could possibly desire.

Evidence of the club's excellent facilities is its choice the base for the International Swordfish Tournament this year. Sports fishermen will travel from all over the world

to vie for prizes.

Organized in 1959 by John Olin of Olin-Mathieson Corporation, the club boasts in its

membership rolls the names of some of the top sports fishermen in the country. Competitors at Cuttyhunk, Crown Colt and Pinas Bay have found the Deep Sea Club a perfect spot to drop anchor from June to September.
