(8) Pack Solder-less DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm Connectors to be used with Kurrent Electric Solder-less Guitar Cable. These are perfect for making custom length DC power patch cables to be used with guitar effects pedals and a variety of power supplies.
They are made to work with our Kurrent Electric Cable which is sold separately. It conveniently uses the same cable as our 1/4" solderless patch cable connectors kits which are also sold separately. If you have previously purchased one of our 1/4" connector kits and have left over cable you can use that with these DC connectors.

* For use with Kurrent Electric Brand Solderless Cable (sold seperately). Use of other brand cable may result in poor performance and inconsistent results.
Assembly Instructions:
- Measure and cut the cable to the desired length. Do your best to cut the cable off clean and flush. Do not strip the jacket, just cut the cable flush.
- Take one of the DC connectors and back out the set screw far enough to make room to slide the cable in. (Try not to back out the screw so far that it falls out and gets lost. I've found it helpful to assemble these over an area where the screw will be easily found if you drop it.)
- Gently slide the end of the cable into the connector all the way in until it stops. Hold things together as you gently twist in the set screw. This screw will secure the cable into the plug as well as piercing the jacket in order to ground the connection.
- Repeat for the required number of patch cables.
- It's highly suggested to test each cable individually after assembly to ensure you have a good connection. If necessary it's easy to disassemble and try again.
