This majolica plate, ca. 1880 has a very small restored chip to the back of its rim and a very faint hairline which was hand touched up by a studio artist to reduce its visual effect. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and discoloration. A similar pattern plate in turquoise color can been found on page 96 of the Encyclopedia of Majolica valued $250.00 -$275.00 in 1998. Please disregard the lighting glares.
