As you can see in the listing photos, this pair of lampshades is displayed and featured in the 1950 Tropicmode, Tropitan "The Modern Rattan" catalog. I have recently sold a set of 3 Paul Frankl tables pictured below the lamps, and two table lamps all as pictured in the catalog. The buyer did not want the original shades for the lamps. Of course, the deep red bark cloth fabric has reached the point of significant wear and aging but the strong metal frame molds are in perfect condition. I would image that considering the hexagonal shape and the intricate pattern necessary to cut replacement fabric, it would be valuable, and a valuable asset to have the original lampshade frames to adorn any lamps of this era of Tropitan furnishings. The shades are 11.5" tall and the hexagon shade lower measurements are 19" across from one side to another and 22" if measuring hex point to hex point. As with all my listings I include free shipping, a worthy charity donation and use the Best Offer format for all buyer considerations
