Who says the proverbial jack of all trades is always a master of none? This line does it all - and beautifully so, at that.

A great all-around taper with a wide range of applications. Longer rear taper provides multiple pick up points. Casts a very wide range of fly sizes. Haul zone extends the usable head length. And the ultra-thin running line shoots like hell and takes up less spool space.

The all new Superflo fly lines are a highly incredible performing series of freshwater lines that outshines any PVC product on the market. No UV degradation, sunscreen, DEET, no cracking and no environmental contamination from leaching. In short, none of the drawbacks of PVC. Safely and completely recyclable. With all the benefits of polyurethane, Airflo will never change.

For nearly 70 years, the majority of fly lines have been made from PVC — a naturally rigid plastic that requires the use of plasticizers to make PVC lines functional. Unfortunately, these plasticizers are anything but a permanent part of a PVC fly line.

You see, from the minute it’s made, a PVC line begins breaking down — leaching plasticizers into the environment and contaminating you and the waters you fish. Once it has shed enough of these chemicals, it becomes prone to cracking, and sometimes, even failure.

As if all that’s not enough, as it decomposes, PVC is known to release Dioxins — a group of lethal, bio-accumulating toxins. Consequently, it’s virtually impossible to safely dispose of a PVC line.

All of which is why Airflo has never used PVC to produce our lines. Since 1984, our lines have been made from Polyurethane — an inert, stable, recyclable material that requires no plasticizers, performs better and lasts far longer than PVC lines.
