It has been made in 2 panels then hand joined in the middle. The hems are machine stitched. It is very ‘Slubby’ cream linen in the French style and the linen sheets are possibly antique with the embroidery added later.

The flower petals are finely hand crocheted and appliqued on. The stems and leaves are embroidered directly.

Could also be used as a large tablecloth.
