In 1913, Dr. Winter, a professor at St. Louis’ Washington University, authored the first dentistry book fully dedicated to exodontia (tooth extraction). This book, published in 1926, Dr. Winter authored the followup with distinction to the Impacted Mandibular Third Molar. Dr. Winter’s works are studied today with regards to early 20th century dental practices. This copy is signed by the author. It is great condition with no loose pages. Illustrations in the book were done by Tom Jones. Mr. Jones would later become the President of the Nucleus Committee of Five, an organization in Chicago of medical illustrators.
