Antique Hallmarked Sterling Silver Edward VII Penny-Set Trinket Dish Birmingham 1902

Details
Height : 5mm
Diameter : 8.5cm
Weight : 28gm

This antique hallmarked sterling silver coin-set small dish is in good condition
for age and use. There are a number of small dings to the silver. However, the
hallmarks on the front of the dish are nice and crisp, dating it to Birmingham
1902. The English penny coin set into the centre is also dated 1902 and bears
the profile of Edward VII. The makers' initials, 'CS & FS' indicate it was
produced by Cornelius Saunders and Frank Shepherd.
