Chapter 1: The Beauty of Geigi and Maiko

Dressing, makeup, putting up a store, and the sash. There are also columns on maiko hairstyles and hana-kanzashi, and the book is filled with the charms of beautiful geiko and maiko.

Chapter 2: The Gorgeous Stage of Odori

The most glamorous event of all is the dance and dance performances in spring and fall. Geigi and maiko perform on these stages to show the results of their daily training, and they are widely supported both at home and abroad.

Chapter 3: The Four Seasons of Hanamachi

About the Author
Hiroshi Mizobuchi is a photographer specializing in Kyoto's entertainment district. He has held photo exhibitions in Washington, D.C., Miltenberg, Germany, and throughout Japan. He has published more than 20 books.
