18th/19th C PEWTER TOBACCO JAR #2
Description: This is an interesting and most unusual form of tobacco jar. The body
of the jar is of octagonal form and the lid has an unusual relief-cast
decorative figure (see detailed images) that has been reattached. This is very
heavy which indicates that it has a major lead content.
