RARE, Museum Pewter Water
Bottle
Description: This is a rare, early 19th
century English pewter water bottle. A
similar/identical example is pictured in the reference: Pewter at the
Victoria & Albert Museum, p.92, fig.99. The bottom of this bottle has
the inventory label LPH78.2 from the London Towne Publik House Museum
(Edgewater, Maryland) when it was on exhibit for over thirty years. This is the
only example we have seen or had for sale in almost fifty years.
