This is a 45-year-old room box, titled by the artist as "My Irish Kitchen."
It measures 16 inches across, and 13 inches high. The hook rings in the back indicate this piece was designed to hang on the wall, as a diorama. The entire thing only weighs about 5 pounds.
The wooden room has a glass front, held in place by a picture frame type edging. This will be removed for shipping, so I can bubble wrap the contents as needed. Even careful removal may affect the look of the front box edge, as it was not designed for removal.
The box is currently furnished with the following items:
- fabric room screen
- empty clay pot -- and the philodendron that once filled it a few feet away
- country-style table and 4 chairs (one chair is lying down)
- on the table, 2 cups, a basket floral arrangement, and 2 place settings
- an ice bucket on a pedestal containing a bottle of wine (this has fallen over)
- a Hagen-Renaker type ceramic puppy
- basket of then-current magazine covers
- 3 wooden kitchen tools and a large basket hung on the wall
- bookshelf with some metal-look items on the top
- spatterware coffee pot and 2 matching mugs on a mug hanger along with 2 other matching mugs on the floor
- 4 silver-colored tankards
- 3 more baskets hanging on the wall
- a framed dog photo
- a framed map of Ireland
- a filled shadowbox hanging on the wall
- 4 bottles of wine in a wine rack
- 3 additional potted plants
- 2 hanging plants attached to the ceiling
- a glazed pottery basket
- a small shelf
All these items are at least 45 years old, but have had the benefit of being maintained dust-free behind the picture frame glass. You could maintain it as a look into the past, or you could update it.

NOTE: The shipping cost shown includes shipping the room box in two parts -- the box and contents, bubble wrapped as needed -- and the glass front. If you don't WANT the glass front, I can include the yellowish colored wood trim, but leave the glass out. This will reduce your shipping cost significantly.
