This is a rare March 1st, 1908 program (playbill) from the three-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the EDWARD GERMAN, CHARLES H. TAYLOR, ROBERT COURTNEIDGE and A. M. THOMPSON English Comic Opera "TOM JONES" at the Grand Opera House in Chicago, Illinois. (The Original Broadway production opened November 11th, 1907 at the Astor Theatre in New York City and closed January 4th, 1908 after 65 performances.) ..... CONDITION: (Please Note!) There are clipped corners to two inside pages (shown in the fourth scanned image), light soiling to a few inside pages, minor creasing at the corners and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare program will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
