Factory sealed first cassette tape edition of heavy and power metal band from Santa Rosa, California: Vicious Rumors - Welcome To The Ball, 1991, US release on Atlantic.  This includes the original hype sticker and Digalog sticker.  The case does not appear to have any cracks, but it does have a big cutout slit at the bottom of the spine.  I've taken a bunch of close-ups, which, if you expand, perhaps will give an even closer view. The j-card is definitely cut under the saw cut, but the shell seems to be untouched.  I carefully stuck something non-intrusive and thin into the cut and running it over the exposed part of the shell, I feel no ruggedness or problem, all the way from the rounded edge of the shell to the far other side of the area under the cut.  I cannot guarantee that it isn't touched, but it sure feels good to go.
