Welcome to my auction for this beautiful vintage wedding dress

This is a gorgeous handmade wedding dress 

Circa 1950s

Its very well made by a professional dressmaker

Made in a pretty off white pearly damask with long sleeves with pearl bead buttons and full skirt with very slight longer length at the back and a bustle to finish the back 

Inside there is a waist band in petersham ribbon as it is a very heavy dress   

I have washed this dress as it was really grubby, in doing this the starched under skirt stretched making the hem uneven, this is stitched in and will need to be unstitched and shortened. I have left this as it may need to have this altered anyway. the photos show the under skirt pinned in place and then again with them taken out 

There is still a grubby mark all the way around it may be possible to remove if you know what to use and have the time 

It is around a size 10 but please check the measurements below 

Laying flat 

Across the shoulder is 45cm 

Pit to pit is 45cm 

Inner arm length is 50cm 

Waist is 35cm across 

Length from shoulder to hem at the front is 147cm 

Waist to hem at the front is 107cm 

Length from shoulder to hem at the back is 155cm 

Waist to hem at the back is 126cm
