This upgrade solves the problem with Mgb/mgc seat runners being impossible to adjust, and constantly binding

Problem statement:

MGB & MGC cars use wooden packers, over a thin sheet metal floor pan.

Over time the wood flexes, shrinks and breaks causing the seat mechanism to bind/lock up.

Furthermore, the floor pan also deforms under the weight of passengers.

As such, adjustment of the seats becomes near impossible…. Especially for us older gentlemen

The solution:

Install these 1cm thick aluminium packers and throw away your wooden packers.

The holes come pre drilled, so it’s an easy bolt in solution.

The thick aluminium provides a straight smooth surface for the seat runner to bolt onto, ensuring smooth operation/adjustment of seats

No cutting, drilling etc required
