COMMENT.

As long as the Prince de Condé had been prime minister, people had, in a way, thought less of him; but during his exile in Chantilly, the affection of Burgundy seemed to console him. The Elect had his arms and those of his wife Caroline of Hesse-Reinfeld engraved, crowned and accompanied by the genius of the province whose cornucopia is overturned.
