In 2020 to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of Captain Cooks Voyage of Discovery, the Royal Mint released a special Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Captain Cook £2 Two Pound Coin Pack Sealed.
The reverse designed by Gary Breeze features the ship HMS Bark Endeavour with a Maori boat close proximity, Captain James Cook in writing and the dates 1770-2020 while the obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
