NOTE: I wear a modern-day size 10, and have broad swimmer's shoulders and a 36" bust. The coat fits me comfortably over a lightweight blouse, with no pulling across the back or bust. The coat hangs nicely, and the buttons lay flat. For me, the coat would be too snug if worn over a bulky sweater or a blazer.
