These high rise shorts in pinky-peach Jersey cotton, are for girls aged 11-12 or older teens who are XS-Small in size. These are great to sleep in with a t-shirt, as loungewear, for sports, or under a floaty dress or short skirt where if the wind blows you are still modest. This is a high rise short with a proper wide waistband with flat elastic inside and the fabric is turned under around this and secured with a double row of peach stitching
There are vertical central seams at the centre front and the central back, these continue to the middle of the outside of the gusset where there is another seam cross across the legs. There are no seams at the hip sides. At the bottom the pink jersey cotton is turned up inside and secured with another double row of peach stitching.
This Jersey cotton is quite thick so these shorts hang well but I don't see them as stand alone outer wear but as great for lounging around the house under a top, or great to sleep in, or to wear out as shorts under a summer dress. As they are made in cotton there is no additional gusset lining and the bottom hangs low. This pair was photographed on a S-M adult mannequin so on an XS-S person they would not look as tight.
