The lens is in good condition. The barrel is clean and fresh. The lens is 100% compatible with Nikon DSLR. As you know these lenses sometimes cannot be mounted on Nikon due to the lens mount part that prevents. But not this lens. This lens mount is copletely compatible and you can mount it on ANY Nikon with F mount.
The lens is sharp and it has an unusual optical shape of the expensive professional lenses. It works so good maybe due to the Zeiss  secrets known in the USSR. Auto aperture blades are working fast, infinity is correct, the lens is tiny so your Nikon DSLR becomes small and lightweight like a rangefinder. Beautiful lens!
