Up for sale is my 1980 Mercedes Benz 450SL Roadster with 81K miles.
I have only put on about 800 miles since owning it. (I bought it in 2019 from the ORIGINAL OWNER).This is TRULY a 1 owner car. This car was bought from an estate sale I went to and the Original owner, to my understanding, was not well in health and had since passed (unfortunately). The car is 100% complete and original! It runs and drives Very well. IT'S RESTORED!

I have replaced and restored The following:
ALL of the fluids, including the fuel pump, the ignition system, plugs, filters, wires, seals, some gaskets, fuel lines, distributor, wires were replaced.
Sits on BRAND new tires and Good chrome wheels (16’s) from the SL500. (I have original wheels, chrome is not good on that set 15’s.) Those come with the car.
THE BODY HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED PROFESSIONALLY. I HAVE SPENT TENS OF THOUSANDS GETTING BODY AND TOP DONE. ALL RUST HAS BEEN CUT, REMOVED ALL NEW METAL PUT IN ITS PLACE. THE PAINT IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION. HAS BEEN BROUGHT DOWN TO BARE METAL, PRIMED, AND 3 COATS OF PEARL METALLIC MERCEDES BLACK PUT ON, 3 COATS OF CLEAR. CAR IS LIKE GLASS.
ANY ISSUES FOUND OR WEAK SPOTS WERE CUT OUT AND NEW METAL WELDED.
IT HAS A BRAND NEW SOFT TOP
I HAVE HUNDREDS OF PICTURES OF THE RESTORATION WHICH WAS COMPLETED THIS PAST MONTH. ITS A FULL NEW RESTORATION. I HAVE RECEIPTS!!!! I HAVE A FOLDER FULL OF RECORDS SINCE NEW. I HAVE 2 SETS OF WHEELS & TIRES. I HAVE SPARED NO EXPENSE. INTERIOR IS LEFT TO FINISH, CAR RUNS NICE.
BUMPERS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED TO SIT AS EURO SPEC BUMPERS DO. FONT AND REAR... THEY SIT FLUSH ON THE BODY

FRONT LAMPS PAINTED TO MATCH, NEW RUBBERS ALONG DOOR SILLS
This Car comes with all records and has new tires, and chrome wheels. I have driven the car around sporadically while it was being restored. The interior is the only part left to have a fully restored clean car. The windows are a little sluggish but are functional. To make the car pristine you would need to complete woodwork inside and perhaps seats. The car runs well and does 70-80MPH without any issue. Engine and transmission are excellent. It runs great, transmission shifts nice, suspension is tight. The brakes are responsive and all the lights work. Radio works as it should. The A/C I have not checked as it is winter here currently. The heat I've noticed is a little weak at times but when messing with the buttons works (perhaps a bad connection somewhere?) The gauges all work perfectly, all panels and interior components are original and up to par. The Bumpers FRONT AND BACK have been modified to Euro specifications and have custom brackets (they sit flush). The paint is PERFECT, has no dents or scratches it was JUST restored. There is ZERO RUST anywhere on this car, paint is metallic Mercedes Benz, and is an upgrade to factory. I have the original wheels however the chrome is damaged on those So i have bought a new set and upgraded to the SL500 16's. You will get the OEM set. Car comes with loads of literature and car covers. It has many many new parts All BOSCH, ALL OEM. The engine has been completely tuned, the body restored. all fluids changed. This is a beautiful car all around. Seats and wood work I have not replaced. It may still need a few things but overall Its been all professionally done.
