GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

I recently purchased a used bookstore and an adjoining 1820s house in USNY. The previous owner is 98 years old and left numerous belongings behind for his transition to long-term care.

While cleaning out the house, we found a wooden box with hundreds of antique / vintage printing plates and blocks. From some research, the majority appear to be from 1910-1940 with the majority being from the early 1930s. Most are brass, with some being copper, aluminum on wood, solid wood, solid lead, or brass-plated lead.

The photos have been taken on a 1" x 1" grid to show size.
