TIZ-AM-600 - Soviet Motorcycle

Motorcycle TIZ AM-600


TIZ AM-600 is a model of motorcycles produced in 1935-1941 in the style of the Taganrog Tool Plant. Used by the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War.
   A Soviet twin of the Birmingham Light Arms Company motorcycle, the BSA Sloper model, with a 600 cc overhead valve engine and a four-speed gearbox. In 1936, the motorcycle was approved for mass production (it was intended for the Red Army, the NKVD and the People's Liberation Army of China. Thanks to the high technical culture of the production of TIZ AM-600 motorcycles, the reputation of over-the-road and historical machines. They were produced with a sidecar, but for the needs of the army) . and NKVD - with a machine gun turret
In 1941, motorcycle production was evacuated to the Tyumen Motorcycle Plant, where it was assembled until 1943.
