Charming little reference book measuring 5" x 4" in very good condition. It is a reproduction of Turner's working notebook at age 21.

The introduction by Andrew Wilton, Curator of the Turner Collection at the Clore Gallery, places the book in the context of Turner's life and work and helps to identify much of the subject matter.

The book has been reproduced in its original size with some images appearing either sideways or inverted following Turner's use of it precisely.
