Y30-1 - 1920 AC Mack Truck - Arctic Ice Cream
1:60 Scale - 11cm length

Designed in 1914, the thoroughly tested Mack was in full production by January 1916. Used by the Allies during World War I, it lived up to its nickname, the "Bull Dog Mack", given by the British when they saw its appearance and rugged qualities. Further development after the war enabled Mack to fully share in satisfying the demand for lorries as the US Government pushed ahead with its road-building program.

This beautifully crafted replica by Matchbox is finished in cream and features the livery of the Arctic Ice Cream Company. It was made in 1987, and this livery was significant as it was the first to be produced at the Macau factory, after the UK factory in Rochford was closed down and all tooling shipped out to the Far East. On the box it is described as a Limited Edition, although total production numbers are unknown.

Excellent pre-owned condition and presented in its original Type J box. Box has no serious wear and no rips or splits. Model itself is clean and near-mint, still being secured to its cardboard base with a plastic tie. See photos - all photos show actual item.
