ÜBER ORIGINAL BERGISCHER ENGEL: Diese Kunstgewerbe-Manufaktur existierte von 1945 bis 1968. Es wurden in erster Linie Märchen-Holzbilder und Hampelmänner hergestellt, fast 25 Jahre lang. Die Entwürfe stammen alle von Johanna Gruner-Witkop (4.11.1928 bis 8.3.2023). Die Produktion fand in Solingen statt, genauer gesagt in Wald, einem Stadtteil von Solingen. Es war eine der erfolgreichsten Märchen-Holzbild-Manufakturen, die aus der Not nach dem 2. Weltkrieg heraus entstanden waren. 

🇬🇧 ABOUT ORIGINAL BERGISCHER ENGEL: This wood craft manufacture existed from 1945 to 1968. They created thousands of fairy tale wood pictures and Jumping Jack figures, over an almost 25 year period. All the designs were made by Johanna Gruner-Witkop (4.11.1928 to 8.3.2023). The production took place in Solingen. It was one of many manufactures that started right after the 2nd World War and it became one of the most successful ones. (5/3)
