ÜBER DREI TANNEN G OLBERNHAU: Die Figuren dieser Manufaktur oft besonders bunt und originell. Die Linien sind meist mit einem schwarzen Stift nachgezogen, wie man es von Comics kennt. Manchmal wurden diese schwarzen Linien auch aus vielen kleinen Punkten gemacht. Die Linien sind nach den vielen Jahrzehnten manchmal etwas verblasst. Die Rückseiten zeigen in der Regel drei Tannen und ein “G”. Drei Tannen stehen im Wappen der Stadt Olbernhau im Erzgebirge. Aber wofür steht das “G”? Weiß es jemand? 🇬🇧 ABOUT 3 PINE TREES G OLBERNHAU: The wood pictures by this manufacturer often colorful and have an unusual style. The outlines are often black, like in comic books and sometimes consist of many little black dots. You will see some of those lines faded over the centuries. Most often there is a stamp on the back with three pines and a “G”. The town Olbernhau (“Land of Toys” in Germany’s Ore Mountains) has three pines in their city coat of arms. But why the “G”?
