Hi! - This is an eBay listing for a Rabbit Videocaster Wireless VCR transmitter. I'm selling a number of these, please feel free to make offers on more than one. This device can transmit video and audio from a VCR, cable box, video game console or anything else that provides video and audio over separate video & mono audio RCA jacks. The receiving end goes to a TV via RF modulator. This is very dated technology but it was pretty cool at the time, and with multiple receivers, you could have one transmitter and many receivers to show a duplicate image across lots of televisions.

The packaging says "120ft without loss of picture quality" but an Amazon review suggests it's more like 25ft in their personal experience. Also there is some inherent loss in quality going from composite to RF modulated. This would be very useful in cases where you want to set up some vintage game console at a convention or large conference room and don't really want to carry 10s of feet of cabling to a large display or projector that someone might trip over.

This might also be a fun project for software-defined radio enthusiasts to play with receiving/transmitting video signals. Multiple receivers could show different video signals from a single SDR transmitter for some nifty projects -- or multiple transmitters combined onto a single screen. From what I gather on the internet, these work within the 902MHz/922MHz frequency range.
