The main differences between these two units is that the TRU8885 has a numeric keypad on the base, while the 43-5860 does not, and the TRU8885 is expandable to 10 handsets, while the 43-5860 can expand to 8. The handsets for both models are identical. This owner’s manual is a reasonable substitute for the original.
