White Sheba
Cintāmaṇi

Material: Tektite Glass
Location: Safford, AZ
Surface: pitted ornamentation
Natural, unaltered state

White Sheba, a tektite, has one of the lowest re-emitted photonic wavelengths of any mineral. Black Sheba is the brother stone to Saffordites; a lovely colored natural glass stone found only in Safford, Arizona. Sometimes Black Sheba are referred to as the darkest Tektite and White Sheba the lightest. Little is known of their origins other than being found alongside Saffordites as they are exceedingly more rare.

The beauty of nature is the pure perfection of imperfection.
