HOW WE WORK
ABOUT US: We are experienced eBay resellers
(not hobbyists) and operate an established For-Profit eBay business in
Melbourne, Florida. We’ve been earning a living selling on eBay since 2016 by sourcing,
hand selecting, and buying quality items for you to purchase in our
store. You may not be aware of the cost, time, and work that goes into running
an eBay business and selling items online. We clean and refresh all items; take
measurements and photographs of each item; and create the listing including
researching the item and writing a description. We then carefully pack the item
using quality packing material which we purchase, and then deliver your
package to the post office. We also take time to provide good customer service
by communicating with our customers, answering questions, resolving issues, etc.
All of this involves out-of-pocket expenses, including cost of goods,
selling fees, packing material, and of course, our time.
OUR PRICES: We know as a buyer the perceived value of an item you want to
purchase on eBay has a great impact on your purchasing decision. When pricing
our items, we consider many factors to value our items at a fair market price
according to its quality, brand, beauty, condition, uniqueness, demand, and
other similar factors The items we sell are preowned/gently used, vintage, and
preowned in new, unused condition with Tags. We also must build a fair profit
into our prices to cover our costs, expenses, and labor. We realize that price
is important and try to always price our items fairly and competitively;
however, we will understand if our prices are not right for you.
SALES AND PROMOTIONS: We run weekly markdown sales (10%-40% off List
Price). In addition, we offer extra savings with discount coupons and special
promotions to offset shipping costs. So, you can be assured that you can always
find a great deal when shopping with us. We encourage you to follow our
store to take advantage of them.
MAKING OFFERS: We will
consider fair and reasonable offers ONLY. We reserve the
right to automatically decline unreasonable low-ball offers. If an offer is
below the minimum price we can accept, we will likely send you a counteroffer.
Counteroffers are determined by a specific percentage off the Retail List Price
(not off the current Sale Price). To save us both time if we send
you a counteroffer, it will be firm at the lowest and best price we can offer
you for the item at that time. If you are unable or unwilling to accept our
counteroffer, please feel free to decline. We also send out Offers to Watchers
periodically. If you are Watching one our listings, and do not want to
receive random offers from us, be sure to take the listing off your Watch List.
SHIP TO ADDRESS: We ONLY ship to addresses that are
listed on the order. We cannot ship to a different address or change the Ship
To address on an order. Please be sure your Ship To address is correct before
making a purchase. If it is not, we will need to cancel the order, but you can
repurchase it using the correct Ship To address on the order at checkout.
HANDLING TIME: Our eBay Store is set to 3 Business Day handling
time to give us a cushion in case of delays in getting to the Post Office;
However, we always try to ship your package out sooner typically within 1-2
business days. Unfortunately,
we cannot offer Same Business Day Handling Service at this time.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: We use eBay’s calculated
shipping services where the amount you pay for shipping will be based on the
weight and dimensions of package, and the destination zip code. We also pass
along a portion of eBay’s negotiated shipping rates to our Buyers (up to 33%
off retail). All packages are shipped from Melbourne Florida 32940 directly to
your USA location. To calculate what your domestic shipping rate will be, go to
the Shipping Details Tab in the listing and enter your zip code. The shipping discount will be
reflected in the rate shown in the Tab and at check out.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPPING: We participate in eBay’s Global
Shipping Program for international orders. All international orders are sent to
eBay’s Global Shipping Distribution Center located in Illinois USA. They handle
all the international shipping logistics and will ship the item to your country
from there. If you have questions about the Global Shipping Program, their
international shipping process, import/duties charges, invoices, paying for
your order, or have issues with an order we shipped to the Distribution Center,
please contact eBay directly for
assistance.
LOCAL PICK UP: All items listed as
LOCAL PICK UP ONLY are located in Melbourne, Florida. We will send you a
message asking for permission to contact you via Phone to make pick up
arrangements in a designated public location in our local area. All items must
be paid for in advance prior to pick up. We CANNOT ship items marked for
local pick up only. If you are not in the Melbourne, Florida area and cannot
pick up the item personally, then we will respectfully cancel the order and
provide a full refund if payment was
made.
QUALITY CONTROL: We inspect all items we sell 3 times – 1) when
we purchase it; 2) prior to listing it for sale; and 3) prior to shipping it
out. We will notify you of any change in the item’s
condition prior to shipping the item to you and give you the opportunity to
decide if you still want the item or if you want to cancel the order.
QUALITY
MERCHANDISE: We take pride in the merchandise we offer for
sale and HAND SELECT each item we sell for its best use, highest quality,
beauty, uniqueness, rarity, desirability, value, and overall condition. Rarely do we sell items that are ripped,
torn, stained, chipped, cracked, damaged, etc., unless the flaw is so
slight that it does not detract from its beauty or functionality or is deemed
safe to use. We will disclose any known flaws in the condition description and
provide photos. We will also mark “As is” in the Title. Please see “Preowned Condition” for more details.
CONDITION: Most
items we sell are pre-owned, gently used
or vintage (20 years or older) and may have slight imperfections or light wear
and tear due to age or prior use. Some items we sell although preowned are in
like-new condition. We will describe the item’s condition “as we see it” at the
time we listed it to the best of our ability and knowledge and will provide
photos; however, we may not capture everything exactly. Items that have
slight imperfections or flaws, will be disclosed in the listing’s Condition
Notes, and have “As Is” included in the Title.
We do wash, iron, clean, dust, sterilize, freshen, polish, etc. most of
the items we sell, when it is safe to do so, prior to listing and shipping. Some
vintage items we leave alone and sell “as they are”. Please see “Quality Control” for
details.
AGE: Age
will be listed if known. If not, then if the listing says “vintage”, we presume
it to be 20 years old or older (before 2003). If it does not say “vintage”,
then we presume it to be less than 20 years old (2003 to present).
JEWELRY: Most of our jewelry for sale is preowned
costume/fashion jewelry; contemporary or vintage. We hand select each piece for
its beauty, condition, and best quality for what it is. Some pieces are marked;
most are not. We test, research, and clean the jewelry (if needed). We are not
jewelry experts but are learning! We know some things about some jewelry but
not all things about all jewelry. We will describe the jewelry pieces to the
best of our ability and knowledge at the time of listing and provide photos. If you know more
about a piece we have listed or find our description to be vague or inaccurate,
please let us know! It is not
our intention to misrepresent anything that we sell.
SHRINKAGE ALLOWANCE FOR PREOWNED CLOTHING: Pre-owned clothing that is machine washable or made of
a fabric like 100% Cotton more likely than not has been washed and dried one or
more times prior to our obtaining them. And we most often wash, dry,
and/or freshen the garments one more time according
to their care instructions to prepare them for resale. Please be aware that
some shrinkage may have occurred over time during these cleaning processes.
Please refer to the measurements and view all photos before
purchasing. Ask questions if needed.
NONPAYMENT: If we do not receive payment from you
for an item(s) you agreed to purchase within 4 calendar days from date you
committed to purchase the item(s), your order will be automatically cancelled
for Nonpayment and eBay will record an Unpaid Cancellation on your account.
Buyers who have 2 or more unpaid cancellations will not be able to purchase
again from our store. Excessive Unpaid cancellations may also result in
limits being imposed by other Sellers or by eBay, and you may lose your buying
privileges indefinitely. Please see “Making Offers/Accepting Offers” and
“Order Cancellation Policy” for more details.
ORDER
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you make a purchase and then
request to cancel the order for any reason, we will accept the order
cancellation request if the item has not already been shipped. If the order
cancellation request is accepted, and payment was received for the order, we
will process your refund within 24 hours.
It takes 5 to 7 business days for the refund to process completely. .
RETURN
POLICY: Return requests will
be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis only. We reserve the right
to accept or decline a return request, or we may offer you other options. If a
return request is accepted, you are responsible for paying the Return shipping cost.
In certain circumstances, eBay may require us to pay for the return shipping or
we may offer to do so on our own depending on the circumstances. eBay will send
you a return label directly and charge us for the label or we will refund you
the shipping cost. We encourage open and
honest communication between Buyer and Seller and will work with you to attain
a fair and equitable resolution.
RETURNED ITEMS: All items must be returned in the same
condition you received them and as seen in listing photos (i.e., undamaged, tags
still attached, no signs of use, wear, washing, modification, damage by you
after you received it, and ALL parts and accessories associated with the item
that were included in the sale MUST also be returned in order for a full refund
of the purchase price to be given. Once we receive the item back, we will
inspect it and if all the above criteria are met and we deem the item is in resalable
condition, then we will process the refund promptly.
POSTAGE DUE RETURNS: If a package you returned to us is received Postage
Due the postage amount we had to pay to receive the package will be deducted
from the refund amount.
DAMAGED RETURNS: If you
return a package to us and some of the items are received damaged, we will prorate
the refund equal to the purchase value of the damaged items. If the contents of
the entire package is received broken, then no refund will be able to be given,
so be sure to pack the box carefully and securely to lower the risk of
damage during shipping to ensure a safe delivery back to us!
REFUND POLICY: If a refund is warranted, the amount of the refund will be for the
purchase price of the item only. We do not refund the original shipping cost
because the money was already spent to ship the item to you unless we are
required by eBay to do so or otherwise discussed to resolve an issue.
WORK ETHICS: We believe in honest and ethical dealings and feel strongly
about open communication between seller and buyer. We make every effort to
fully describe each item, take photos from different angles, provide
measurements, give as much detail about the item as possible, tell a story if
we have one, and sometimes provide suggestions and ideas for using the
item. We will provide full disclosure regarding chips, cracks, rips,
tears, stains, snags, or any other imperfections. If an issue arises, we
will do everything we can to work with you to arrive at a fair and equitable
resolution.
MISTAKES: We work hard to provide excellent service to our
customers and strive to maintain our reputation as being a fair, honest, and
ethical seller. However, mistakes can and will happen. We are imperfect humans.
