A Hofner President from 1959 converted to Electro-acoustic by addition of a Pickup(Hofner Toaster copy, 9K ohms),Volume and Tone controls.

The Headstock carries an original set of Hofner Tuners (high e needs attention) and the Hofner logo and inlays.

The frets and fretboard are in good condition with a comfortable action.

The Hardwood Bridge,with individual metal saddles is linked to an iconic,Compensator Tailpiece.

The Acoustic voice is mellow,sounds great through an amp.

This guitar is definitely playable as is but could be sweet with a proper setup and new set of strings.

Will be sold with addition of vintage hiscox hardcase.
