This ruby glass ambrotype features a thick bearded gentleman wearing a heavy winter jacket. His face was tinted and he looked away from the camera. 

The 1/6 plate has its original seals and it measures about 2.75 x 3.25 inches. The image is not housed in a case. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
