■The legendary overdrive MAXON ST9 was released in the 1980s and is still passed down as a vintage effect even now that production has ended. ST9Pro+ (Super Tube) is the original ST9 reborn with a new circuit.

■Midrange boost control reproduces a powerful, deep sound that sounds like stacked amps. The drive control also allows for a wide range of settings, from booster-like settings to blues-type sounds to hard-rock sounds.

■Equipped with a new 2-pair diode clip and low-range boost circuit, allowing you to select even stronger distortion and low-range boost feeling.

■The internal operating voltage can be selected between 9V and regulated 18V. The new circuit boosts the voltage to 18V using the internal DC/DC converter only when 18V is selected. When 9V is selected, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate at all, and the device operates with the voltage supplied directly from the battery or AC adapter. When using batteries, the internal DC/DC converter does not operate, which increases battery life.

■By setting the internal operating voltage to 18V, sufficient dynamic headroom is secured, unintentionally generated distortion is greatly suppressed, and stable high-quality sound is always obtained.

■Uses TBS (True Bypass Switching) with 4PDT mechanical switches. When bypassed, it becomes a complete bypass state where no electronic circuit is passed through. Even during effects, it does not go through electronic switching circuits, so there is no deterioration in sound quality. This TBS is highly supported by many musicians and guitarists.
