Tarp / ground sheet/ picnic blanket /waterproof wrap. Useful for a multitude of tasks

Perfect for solo  trips with of without a bivy or as a addition to a colder weather setups and has a multitude of uses around camp.

*sorry no outdoor pictures yet as this is the first batch or solo tarps in the colour (the colour looks great in the forest though!) *

8oz/y2 British made waxed cotton with 6x 3mm thick veg tan leather tie outs and pure hand peened copper rivets. Leather tie out reinforcements are leather too.

Tie-outs are in each corner plus halfway along long side.

Corner tie outs have two different sized holes in them to allow trekking poles ,tarp poles or even just a stick. Also these holes can be used  to easily peg down the tarp

British made waxed canvas fabric, rewaxing is possible with an appropriate wax product but this shouldn't be needed for years unless used as a ground cloth on porous surface (ie wax will get rubbed off and absorbed).

There's no waterproof layer and no PFCs, the wax is a by product of petroleum distillation, so minimal environmental impact. Waxed canvas should also handle the odd spark from the fire easily without damage but caution should still be used around a fire or heat source.
